Spending A Year With King David
At the beginning of the year there is a tradition for one to evaluate life and make resolutions. The truth is that many fail quickly even with the best of intentions. I did not want another year of not making it...So I prayed and asked God for a different path. The answer to my prayer was found in dedicating my Bible study this year of 2019 primarily to relating myself to the life of King David. I jumped right in on day one and it is now the end of January and I can reflect honestly upon this path for the coming year. I have missed days of studying and applying the life lessons I am discovering. But the vision that was birthed in my heart has not changed and I am very passionate about becoming more like Jesus through learning about David. Vision is much better than goals or resolutions alone. Vision is looking for the path of the Lord in your life and following the light that is given!
